Elliott Ruga began his professional career at NBC where he worked as a Videotape Operator, Associate Director, Director and Operations Team Leader. Ruga was awarded National Sports Emmys for his work on the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona and the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. In 2003, Ruga joined Lantern Oak Communications, LLC as Vice President and Executive Producer, producing interactive CD-ROMs, DVDs and other media for the firm's clients. In 2005, Ruga launched his own professional services practice offering a variety of multimedia strategies. He is currently producing several media projects for the New Jersey Department of Transportation, including a long form documentary on Context Sensitive Design. Since 2001, Ruga has regularly free-lanced as a live control room director for New Jersey Public Television.
